BANK OF ENGLAND SET TO RELAX MORTGAGE AFFORDABILITY RULES

Some good news leading into Christmas and the New year for 1st time home buyers.



With interest rate hikes expected in the new year, the bank of England has announced its plans to relax mortgage lending rules in 2022.


The Bank of England want to remove a rule which made borrowers prove they could meet payments on their mortgage should interest rates go up by 3%.

This is great news for first time buyers as it makes their access into the UK housing market a lot easier. More in the link below:
